Though a common trope used to foment anti-Judaism is the myth that Jews go out of their way to avoid military service, the reality is that Jewish Americans have been well represented in every major conflict since the founding of the United States. This collection tells these fighters’ stories, from Gregg’s uncle Jerry’s death in WWII and Michelle’s father’s service during the Korean war, to a young Jewish soldier’s experience liberating a concentration camp, and beyond.
